What a journey!

What a journey for Squidlets so far...

In August we said 'shall we?' then we brainstormed and Squidlets Swim School became an entity. Having decided we both wanted to provide swimming lessons as teachers motivated by sharing a passion for swimming and a love of the water, we changed aspirations into a reality.

Having juggled business and wedding planning, in September, just before starting Squidlets, Amy Kiellor-Jolly got married at Stennack Farm.

At the beginning of October Squidlets Swim School was launched, opening the doors of Truro School Prep pool to all of our amazing swimmers.

In November Julia Raines had a big birthday, which she celebrated with her family by taking trips to Glastonbury and London.

Julia also completed a course in Understanding Autism.

December saw us complete our first term, with many of our swimmers achieving an award following the Swim England award scheme.

With all this success we are please to announce that we are taking on another staff member to teach on a Tuesday evening and a Friday evening. Hayley Walker is a fantastic teacher, equally as passionate as ourselves, and we are both extremely excited to see what our swimmers can achieve with Hayley's guidance.

Many thanks to everyone for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming back our previous Squidlets in 2023 and also welcoming new Squidlets into the family.
